Minor Illness is no longer a drop in
As of October 2011 we are changing the way that monior illness clinic works
We have a new nurse practitioner starting who will be bringing new skills into the practice. She will be running the clinic on her own and we willl no longer be having a Doctor operationg alongside these appointments.
The times for the new clinic will be from 8.10 - 10am and will be appointment based.
These appointments will remain 10minutes and will be released from 8am on each day, up until 10am. As people come through the doors they will be given the next available appointment to be seen.
Once the clinic is filled patients will be asked to book an appointment nother time
We believe this way of working will be better for everyone, releasing more Doctor appointment slots and giving patients a better service.
Led by Nurse Kimberly Treverton.
Advice and treatment for the following:-
Please note:
The Minor Illmess Clinic is not to be used for the following:-
- Routine Sick notes
- Medication reviews
- On-going old problems
- Routine Dr appointments
- Nurse Reviews
- Blood tests
If the nurse feels that your consultation is inappropriate for the clinic you may be asked to go back to reception and book in with the correct clinician.
Please be assured that a doctor is always available for emergencies.
