Repeat Prescriptions
How can I order a repeat prescription?
1. At the reception desk there are request slips you can fill in.
2. You can fax 01604 708528 stating your name, date of birth and request.
3. Email us 4. System online.
5. Post your request
Please request a few days before you run out of your medication as 48 hours is the normal minimum wait for collection, (excluding weekends) stating where you would like to collect your prescription. (Please note: we do not take repeat prescriptions over the telephone).
You have a choice of how to collect your prescriptions:
1. You can collect from Whitefields surgery
2. You can collect from Unidrug chemist next door
3. You can provide us with SAE to get your prescriptions posted to your home or chemist closest to you.
IMPORTANT:- We can only accept repeat prescription requests for items which have been previously agreed by the doctor to be suitable for repeat prescription ordering, and for which you have not yet used up all your quota of issues before the doctor needs to review your medication. In these circumstances we shall usually be able to meet your request but sometimes even so there may be reasons why we cannot issue a repeat prescription for some or all of the items. The receptionist will explain when you call to collect the prescription.
